The founder of leprosy Health Centre Rev. Fr. Luigi Pezzoni, Construction supervised by Sr.Asuntha Herrero and Mr. A.Joseph.it started in the year 1978 5th January .The leprosy Health Centre hospital inaugurated and blessed by Most Rev.Mathew Cheriankannel Bishop of Nalgonda. It is aided by German Leprosy Relief Association (GLRA).
It is 200 hundred bedded hospital. It started for the purpose to help the leprosy patients to provide quality of life and to rehabilitate them and to give dignified life in the society. Leprosy health centre has all the amenities like Operation Theatre, Dressing Room, X – Ray, physiotherapy, Laboratory.We have old age care home for leprosy affected persons.
Our services
We have three Doctors in our Leprosy Health Centre Nalgonda. Mainly O.P.D Out Patient Department services provided for Leprosy patients, dermatology care and attending the general cases. We have in patients care for the leprosy patients, we admit them, providing wound care, free medical care, nutritional care, counseling and attending to their basic needs.
